Have you ever recycled an article of clothing? Taken it apart and made something completely new?
I have done just that and find the process challenging and rewarding! I love to see if I can use as much of the original garment as possible and still create something that is completely different and unique.
Along with the snow skirt patterns that I have designed, I have also created some pattens for re-purposing clothing. I have just added one of those to my website ~ take a look ~ try it out and send me a picture of your grocery tote. I would love to feature your creation in my portfolio.
Re-purposed Jeans to Grocery Tote
If you catch the “repurpose bug”, check out some of the ideas I have pinned to my Pinterest Board ~ Recycled clothing. You’ll find lots of amazing ideas from some very creative people. One of my favorite blogs for repurposing or refashioning, is The Renegade Seamstress. She’s got great tutorials!
If you decide to place an order for any of my patterns, you will find that I am offering free shipping for the month of December. And remember to sign up for the free supply list if you are thinking about making your own snow skirt.
